Updateable Catalogue
The Catalogue facilities form the "active" part of the website which drives the information you provide. The webpage that is displayed to your client is dependant upon their actions such as which price range or location they have entered. This aspect is essential for providing dynamic information and is the engine which drives your website. In addition to the facilities we have already outlined, this option provides the following additional functions so you can successfully operate and maintain your own online catalogue.
Integration with a Web Server Database.
We shall design a web server database to hold an unlimited amount of information and configure the database tables to suit your particular
application. We shall also code your pages to retrieve and display this information on your website.
Full Control over your Datalists.
Add, edit and remove items, descriptions, images, and reviews. Sort items by category, price range, suitability or any other criteria that
you choose.
Fast Search Facility.
Customers can search your database using any number of criteria including description, category, price range or location. Search results will
return all items that meet the search criteria with a default message if none are found.
Customer Account Login.
If suitable to your site we shall provide a secure login area where your customers can set and edit their details and retrieve messages.
Customer Mailboxes.
These are applicable to online dating sites where the client’s email address remains hidden from the viewer. If an enquiry is made by another
user it is forwarded to your client via a mailbox without exposing their email address. This can also be used to ensure that your customers do not contact
each other directly without making the necessary payments to the website.
Customer Enquiry and Reporting.
Your customers can request more information directly from the item page or provide feedback. Examples of this would be a property site where
customers can request a viewing or a dating site where feedback can be used to report abuse.
Customer Reviews.
Allow your customers to write and submit reviews. This involves your customers in your website providing an interactive experience and
positive reviews encourage others to use your website. Administrator facilities to approve reviews before they are displayed so that you
can intercept negative or offensive reviews.
